　　介绍项目历史

　　The MBA Education Center is under the charge of the School of Management and Economics of Beijing Institute of Technology, following the guidance of the Graduate School of BIT.

　　In 1993, as one of the first two batches of 26 universities, MBA program of Beijing Institute of Technology was entitled by the Chinese Education Ministry to award MBA degree. In 1994, the first batch of MBA students were recruited officially. In 1999, BIT MBA Education Center was established. In 2000, BIT MBA Program has passed qualified evaluation by MBA Education Steering Committee, Academic Degree Commission of the State Council of China. In 2004, a large forum was held, celebrating the 10th anniversary of establishment of BIT MBA program. In 2007, BIT MBA program was ranked No.10 among Chinese Most Influential MBA programs. From 2010 to 2013, the number of BIT MBA applicants has been in the first place in Beijing for three years consecutively, exceeding 1,000, and the number of enrolled MBA students has been over 300. In 2011, our MBA program has taken accreditation from the Association of MBA’s. At the moment, we are processing EQUIS and AACSB accreditation. Through many years’ development, BIT MBA program has become one of the most famous and outstanding MBA program in China.

　　Until now, more than 2,400 MBA alumni have graduated from our MBA programand most of them play important roles in Chinese Central Government, local governments and Chinese large-scale enterprises, also some of them work in various business and management sectors all over the world, such as Jining Government, Dongying Government, China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC), China Welfare Lottery management Center, Shengli Oilfield, Panva investment (Hong Kong), Nissan, China North Industries Group Corporation (CNGC). Besides, we have a close relationship with local governments. For example, we have carried out “Hundreds of MBA Talent Project" with Jining government, and 177 Jining MBA graduates have played key parts in the department of Jining economics and city development. Moreover, more than ten well-known Chinese and international enterprises cooperate with BIT MBA Center, which provide our MBA students plenty of off-campus studies and practices.

　　So far, BIT MBA Education Center has won "National MBA Competition" three times. In 2006, we also became the international champion of the 26th "Global Management Challenge (GMC)". We have been ranked No. 6th of "Chinese most influential MBA Programs," since 2005 and in 2010, we have been placed at No.7.
