　　唐翌目前是香港浸会大学工商管理学院管理学系的副教授。在此之前，他是香港理工大学工商管理学院管理与市场营销系的副教授。唐翌于2009年6月在香港科技大学商学院管理系取得博士学位。唐翌的研究兴趣集中于战略领导力、公司治理、企业创新以及企业社会责任。他的学术成果发表于Academy of Management Journal（两次）, Strategic Management Journal（三次）, Journal of Management, Journal of Business Venturing等世界顶级或者一流期刊。唐翌目前担任Strategic Management Journal和Management and Organization Review的编委会成员。他也是International Association of Chinese Management Association (IACMR)的亚太区代表。

　　演讲内容简介：

　　Recent research has shown that a CEO’s early life experiences have an influence on his or her decision-making as an executive later on. Our study extends this emerging stream of research by examining how CEOs’ early life exposure to religiosity affects the innovation performance of the firms they subsequently manage. Using a sample of firms covered in BoardEx and data from schools during the period 1976-2006, we find that firms managed by CEOs who attended a religious school in their youth tend to perform worse on innovation. The effect is stronger when the CEO attended a religious school at a younger age, when the school has a longer history, when his/her firm has multiple board directors with a religious education and/or his/her firm is headquartered in a religious community. We discuss the implications of our study for the strategic leadership literature and firm innovation research.
