　　Alejandro Puente, Prof. School of Business Director of the research center of the Faculty of Economics and Business, SantoTomásUniversity Alejandro Puente is an economist from Central University of Venezuela and master's in economics from BostonUniversity. He currently serves as an associate professor at theSchoolofBusiness Administrationof theUniversityofSanto Tomasand director of the research center of the Faculty of Economics and Business at the same university. He has extensive academic and professional experience in the public and private sectors, with more than five years in charge of the departments of study of BBVA Bank inChileandVenezuela. Previously, he was senior economist in the Ministry of Planning and the Bureau of Programming and Macroeconomic Analysis of the Ministry of Finance inVenezuela, and researcher and professor in the departments of macroeconomics and econometrics of three major universities inVenezuelafor about fifteen years.
