How do leaders drive innovation?
领导者如何驱动创新?
In my research we noticed that CEOs have to two things
研究中 我们发现企业CEO需要做两件事
One it that they themselves should be a good role model
其一 他们自己要成为楷模
that they themselves can be innovative
他们自身必须要有创新能力
If they are innovative
他们有创意
they can inspire other people to be innovative as well
才能够激发别人的创新能力
Another part is that they also have to step back
另外 他们必须要学会退后一步
to empower their very capable subordinates to be innovative
要授权给有能力的下属进行创新
And let them take the lead
让下属来主导
Can we teach innovation?
创新能教出来吗?
I do believe that we can prime people to think
我相信我们能够引导人们思考
more innovatively and more creatively
让他们更具创新性和创造力
And I don’t think innovation is just about
我不认为创新是
one person being innovative
一个人的事情
Particularly for executive leaders
尤其对于企业高管们来说
they need to cultivate the entire company
他们需要培养整间公司
to adopt this kind of mindset
让人人都有创新思维
So I think we can definitely help the CEOs to
所以我们肯定可以在这方面帮助CEO
to adopt the mindset themselves and cultivate the culture
让他们自己获得创新思维 培育出创新文化
of the company to make people receptive to innovation
并把创新观念带回公司 让更多人接纳创新
and implement innovation better
